"Virginia is in the process of passing legislation that would ban illegal immigrants from enrolling in colleges, so in the meantime, one local lawmaker is proposing a bill at the state level that would require schools to report the tally of illegal immigrant students to the state secretary of education. Todd Gilbert who is a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, whose bill would still allow illegal immigrant student to obtain an education but that Virginia taxpayers have a right to know how much the country’s “broken immigration system” is costing them. While I am excited by Virginia Doing something to combat Illegal immigration, I think it is in reality, too little too late. A lot more should have been done, and needs to be done, starting with our Elected Officials: Doing their Jobs and Enforcing Current Immigration Laws. Since Refusing to enforce our existing Immigration laws has been the norm, we have estimates of up to 35 million Illegal Aliens residing across the United States. However, Since finding a politician that actually supports enforcing immigration laws, is as rare as the ACLU defending Christian religious freedom: I am glad for the little that they are doing. While for the better part of 30 years our Elected Officials, Judges, and most of our News Media has thrown the full weight of their support behind the Illegal Invasion of our country thru the following:

- Acting as a advocates for Illegal Immigration
- The Sanctuary City Programs, Cities that completely ignore enforcement of immigration laws and give Illegal’s full citizenship benefits.
- No Real Safeguards to make sure only Citizens are voting.
- Misinterpretation and Misapplication of the 14th Amendment(intended to guarantee full citizenship status to formerly enslaved Black Americans) Thru current misinterpretation of the Law: when a pregnant Illegal Alien parent sneaks across the border for the purpose of having a child born on U.S. soil to have the child given instant citizenship..., and from that so-called American born child- the illegal Alien parents are able to use that baby as an anchor to, bring in non citizen relatives, receive welfare benefits, housing, medical benefits, and more.
- Flat out Refusal to Enforce our Immigration Laws, combined with a Policy of Refusal to let anyone else enforce immigration Laws, (i.e. President Obama & Arizona) while saying the Federal Government is the only ones allowed to enforce immigration laws. Which anyone who has been paying attention knows the Federal Government for the last 30 or 40 years has Flat OUT Refused to enforce our Immigration laws, particularly as it relates to Mexican Illegal Aliens.
I think it is a good first start to not permit Illegal’s to attend colleges here, and find out how many Illegal’s are here in our public schools. However I don’t get why we are educating people who should not be in our country, in the first place; including the children of Illegal Aliens. We have the laws in place but Our Elected leaders have ignored them resulting in the mess we have today where our cities and states have been completely overrun, and bankrupted by the hoards of poor non-English speaking people that have sneaked across our Wide Open, and Very Illegal Alien Friendly Border with Mexico.
